Field of Scientific Interest:

Size-effects and kinetic properties of low-dimensional systems, spin transport phenomena, computer simulations.

Main Achievements (Theory):

  • Discovery of a spin field-effect transistor that can generate and amplify a spin signal (with a change in the direction of the spin), discovery of the nanocontact spin-electric effect.
  • Spin thermoelectric power as a highly efficient source of spin-polarized current and even pure spin current without charge transfer.
  • spintronic batteries based on special antiferromagnets with suppression of spin relaxation by spatial separation of carriers.
