Electron and heat transport in nanotransistors, thermoelectric effects in nanosystems, driven multilevel quantum systems, Landau-Zener-Stückelberg-Majorana transitions, superconducting qubit-based microwave photon detectors.

Main Achievements:

  • A theory of a thermally induced single-electron shuttling instability in a magnetic nano-mechanical device subject to an external magnetic field has been presented in the Coulomb blockade regime of electron transport.
  • New spin-polaronic effects in a spintromechanical device based on a single-level movable quantum dot that determine strongly nonlinear current-voltage characteristics has been found.
  • A theory of detection of microwave photons with a flux qubit based detector has been presented.
