Welcome to the ICPYS LTP 2017 Conference!

We are pleased to announce that the VIII International Conference for Professionals and Young Scientists “Low Temperature Physics” - ICPYS LTP 2017 will take place in Kharkiv, Ukraine, May 29 - June 2, 2017.

The Conference is an annual scientific event, which is organized by B.Verkin Institute for Low Temperature Physics and Engineering (ILTPE) NAS of Ukraine.

The conference Program focuses on all modern aspects of experimental and theoretical physics at low and ultralow temperatures, solid state physics, nanophysics, biophysics, materials science, and a wide range of topics. We would be honored to invite leading experts in these fields as Invited Speakers at our Conference!

The aim of the Conference is to help professionals to share their knolwge, young scientists and students to improve their skills and scientific qualification, and to get more experience in public presentations. The Conference provides an opportunity to exchange some new information and ideas and to find collaborators and co-projects.

We are glad to invite young scientists and researches under 40 y.o., working in any of the Conference scope to take part in ICPYS LTP 2017!

An interesting scientific Program, including traditional plenary lectures from Invited Speakers, as well as actual Workshops, Lab Tours, Round Tables and various social activities are waiting for you!

Conference regulations

Conference Venue: 47 Nauky Ave., Kharkiv, 61103, Ukraine, B.Verkin Institute for Low Temperature Physics and Engineering NASU.

Conference materials: Book of abstracts and supplemental materials.

Participation in Conference: please, fill in the registration form and send your abstract to Organizing Committee e-mail.


Forms of participation: Oral Reports (12 min for oral report + 3 min for discussion) and Poster Presentations (A1 format, portrait orientation).

Language: English for visual presentations of reports and for papers/posters;
English is preferable, Ukrainian and Russian are possible for oral reports and discussions during poster sessions.


Forms of participation: Plenary Lectures (40 min for lecture including time for discussion).

Language: English for visual presentations of reports and also for lectures.
