LOW TEMPERATURE PHYSICS

June 6 - 10, 2016 | Kharkiv, Ukraine

Welcome to VII International Conference for Young Scientists “Low Temperature Physics” ICYS LTP 2016!

VII International Conference for Young Scientists “Low Temperature Physics” - ICYS LTP 2016 was held in Kharkiv, Ukraine, during June 6-10, 2016. This event was organized by B.Verkin Institute for Low Temperature Physics and Engineering (ILTPE) NAS of Ukraine.

Conference scope covered basic research in experimental and theoretical physics at low and ultralow temperatures, including superconductivity, solid state physics, quantum liquids, cryocrystals, low-temperature magnetism, nanophysics, spintronics, biophysics, materials science, and others related topics.

Young scientists from Ukraine and neighboring countries presented 135 reports. Also leading scientists from Italy, Germany, Great Britain, Japan, Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, USA, and Ukraine participated in the conference as Invited Speakers. Oral and poster presentations of reports evoked lively debate with generation of new ideas, including possible further fostering of international cooperation.

In addition to rich scientific program, organizers suggested special events for informal communication between all scientists in the conference. In particular, participants visited the laboratories of the Institute during the Lab Tours, discussed the programs and co-projects involving young researches during the traditional Round Table with a cup of tea, and went on Kharkiv-city excursion and picnic in Feldman EcoPark.

The organisers would like to extend a warm heartily thank you, our participants, invited speakers, and guests for the active participation!

We hope this conference was useful and interesting for you, and welcome to ICYS LTP 2017!

The authors of the best presentations.

During the conference all the participants' reports were heard by the Program Committee. The authors of the best presentation were chosen by the Program Committee and awarded.
